Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Heffo Klumpo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Franklin has chosen Bring Da Ruckus as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Franklin connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Klumpo's hands.
Klumpo throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

It looks like John Franklin has been cut.
Franklin's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Franklin takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Klumpo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Klumpo is in close to Franklin's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Klumpo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Klumpo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Klumpo here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Franklin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Franklin is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Heffo Klumpo.
Well Klumpo has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
