The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scotsdale throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Zappatista scores with a leg kick.
Scotsdale throws a wild body kick that Zappatista sees coming a mile off.

Zappatista closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Zappatista content to control rather than advance.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Scotsdale can do anything to dispel that myth.
Zappatista wants to lay and pray for a moment but Scotsdale keeps working.
Zappatista thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Scotsdale's head.

Zappatista cracks Scotsdale with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Scotsdale turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Zappatista off and cradles Scotsdale's limp body as Zappatista celebrates with his corner.
