Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nick Shamrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rmarkas Fletcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shamrock comes to the ring accompanied by Puff Daddy's "Been Around The World" featuring Mase & The Notorious B.I.G.. Fletcher comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Keep on Lovin Me Baby by Colin James kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Nick Shamrock! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Rmarkas Fletcher! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Ackerman and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fletcher takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Fletcher checks a leg kick. Shamrock throws a leg kick but Fletcher sees it coming and checks it nicely. A big left from Shamrock misses. Fletcher lands a glancing blow to the side of Shamrock's head. Shamrock misses with an uppercut. Fletcher saw that one coming. Shamrock doesn't manage to clinch there - Fletcher circles away.
Shamrock tries to clinch but Fletcher is having none of it. Fletcher steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Shamrock. Shamrock is looking to clinch. Shamrock throws a hook to the side of Fletcher's head but Fletcher sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Fletcher uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Shamrock. Shamrock tries to clinch up. Shamrock moves in looking to clinch but Fletcher pushes him off. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. No joy there for Shamrock, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fletcher checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Shamrock thows a left - swing and a miss! Shamrock lands a nice shot to the body.
Nick Shamrock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Shamrock tries to clinch up but Fletcher circles away and keeps his distance. Shamrock wants to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shamrock shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Fletcher manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Shamrock won't allow Fletcher to sweep him here. Fletcher is looking for a triangle but Shamrock pushes his legs off easily.

Fletcher is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Shamrock has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Shamrock!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fletcher wants to sweep here but Shamrock controlling him for the moment. Fletcher looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Shamrock puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Fletcher is in trouble now - Shamrock has advanced to mount! Fletcher is trying to escape the mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Shamrock manages to capitalize on a mistake by Fletcher to take his back! The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Shamrock doesn't have the hooks in and Fletcher manages to turn into his guard.
Fletcher drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Shamrock manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Fletcher has Shamrock in his guard. Fletcher escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Shamrock gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. That's four minutes gone in the round. Fletcher is looking for a triangle here but Shamrock uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Fletcher prevents Shamrock from moving into mount. Shamrock creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Shamrock tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Shamrock has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nick Shamrock dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Shamrock tries for a takedown but Fletcher sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Shamrock tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Shamrock throws a big shot that misses. Shamrock throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Fletcher. Shamrock connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Shamrock lands with an uppercut that bounces Fletcher off the ropes and back into rage. Fletcher checks the leg kick. Shamrock throws out a loose jab but Fletcher uses good head movement to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shamrock throws a nice inside leg kick. Fletcher is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Shamrock misses with a leg kick. Shamrock jabbing away but nothing is landing. Shamrock is looking to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fletcher throws a jab but it's blocked by Shamrock. Shamrock tries to land a leg kick but Fletcher saw it coming and moves away.
Shamrock feints and then cracks Fletcher's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Fletcher down. Fletcher throws a jab but it's blocked by Shamrock. Shamrock is looking to clinch but Fletcher is avoiding it.
Shamrock throws out a leg kick but Fletcher moves out of range and Shamrock only half commits. Fletcher changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Shamrock tries to avoid it but Fletcher manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Shamrock to the ground. Shamrock escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Fletcher gets a takedown into half guard. Shamrock wants to improve his position but Fletcher is controlling well.
Fletcher thows a huge punch but Shamrock dodges it nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Fletcher is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Fletcher thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Fletcher moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Shamrock has worked his arm free - good work by Shamrock!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Shamrock sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Shamrock wants to improve his position but Fletcher is controlling well.
Fletcher throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Fletcher missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Fletcher wants to pass the guard but Shamrock is defending well.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Shamrock tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fletcher swats him away and circles back towards the center. Shamrock misses with a looping right. Shamrock tries to clinch but Fletcher moves out of range. Fletcher blocks a jab. Shamrock really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Shamrock stuffs the takedown. Fletcher takes a kick to the side of the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. A jab from Shamrock does it's job there. Shamrock throws a head kick but Fletcher moves out of range.
Fletcher misses with an uppercut. Shamrock saw that one coming. Fletcher swats away the attempt to clinch by Shamrock. A shot to the liver by Shamrock. Beautiful body shot. Shamrock swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fletcher shoots in but Shamrock avoids the takedown attempt easily. Nick Shamrock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rmarkas Fletcher. Shamrock looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Shamrock ducks under a wild hook from Fletcher. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Fletcher fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Shamrock moves away from the strike by Fletcher. Shamrock tries to land a front kick but Fletcher steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Jab by Shamrock. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nick Shamrock dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
The fight stays on the outside here - Shamrock looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Fletcher drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Shamrock is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fletcher is aware though and is defending well. Fletcher makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Fletcher throws a strike but Shamrock rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Fletcher wants to sweep here but Shamrock controlling him for the moment. Shamrock got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fletcher has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Shamrock has managed to get both his arms back between Fletcher's legs - danger averted. Shamrock drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Shamrock jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fletcher looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Shamrock has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Shamrock is pushing down on Fletcher's leg trying to pass to half guard. Fletcher is fighting to maintain full guard but Shamrock has managed to sneak the leg through. Fletcher works his way to full guard. Good work. Shamrock avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Fletcher takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Fletcher is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
