The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruanti goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Ruanti uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Radd.
Ruanti misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ruanti looks to land a body kick but Radd moved away.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Radd checks a leg kick.
Ruanti has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Ruanti there as he acknowledges the shot.
Radd looks to land a right hand but Ruanti moved out of range.
The fighters circling - Ruanti throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Radd forces Ruanti back against the ropes and clinches.

Radd takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Ruanti ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Radd moves away.
Ruanti's corner calls for a 1-2. Ruanti obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Radd tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Ruanti paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Ruanti fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Radd looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Ruanti takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Radd throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ruanti.

Radd moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Ruanti ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close round but I would say that Daniel Ruanti will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Radd tries to get to full guard but Ruanti has control of the leg.
Ruanti wants to take a breather but Radd is having none of it.
Ruanti throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Ruanti is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Radd is just riding it out for now. Ruanti eventually gives up the hold.
Radd is trying to maintain the position but Ruanti is very close to passing his half guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Ruanti shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Ruanti trying to control the action but Radd is working from the bottom.
Ruanti is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Radd is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ruanti's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ruanti's back!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ruanti lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Radd has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Radd and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Ruanti shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Radd sprawls well. Radd wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ruanti gets slowly back to his feet.
