Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Danny Hendricks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson has chosen Jellybones as his entrance music. Danny Hendricks had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendricks tries to clinch but Jackson is having none of it.
Hendricks shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jackson as he avoids it easily.
Jackson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Hendricks swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hendricks uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jackson.
Jackson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hendricks tries to clinch there but Jackson circles away.
Jackson avoids the head kick by Hendricks.
Jackson misses with a jab, cross combination.
No joy there for Jackson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jackson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hendricks manages to avoid it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jackson. Hendricks does a little dance to reset his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hendricks is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hendricks closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jackson circles away.
Hendricks shoots for a takedown but Jackson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Jackson is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Hendricks rather than just go for the knockout.

Jackson connects with a nice cross there... Hendricks is looking wobbly and Jackson recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Hendricks to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Jackson jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
