Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Porsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dexter Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joseph Porsen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dexter Morgan!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Morgan has closed the distance and engaged Porsen in a clinch.

Morgan has clasped his hands together around Porsen's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Porsen is trying to control Morgan's posture but Morgan avoids it.
Porsen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Morgan on the ground.

Morgan is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Porsen is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Morgan is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Porsen knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Porsen wants to get back to his feet but Morgan drags him back down.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Morgan swings around for an armbar but Porsen sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Morgan's guard.
Porsen trying to control but Morgan is working from the bottom.
Porsen is looking to stand up but Morgan won't let him.
Morgan not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Porsen would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Porsen is looking to work some ground and pound but Morgan has wrist control.
Morgan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Porsen manages to get himself to full guard.
Morgan stays in close to Porsen's body and controls the position.
Porsen is trying to keep Morgan in close.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Morgan wants to control from the top but Porsen keeps moving.
Porsen pulls Morgan in close to prevent any damage.

Morgan stands up and waves to Porsen to follow him.
Porsen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Morgan fails in his attempt to clinch.

Good exchange - Porsen coming out on top.

Porsen lands a left and a right that send Morgan crashing to the mat, dazed. Porsen thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Morgan is rocked!


It looks like Dexter Morgan has been cut.
Porsen misses with a takedown attempt - Morgan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Porsen is breathing heavily.
Morgan tries to clinch but Porsen moves out of range.
Porsen lands a high kick!
Morgan is still on wobbly legs! Can Porsen finish him?
Morgan has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Porsen fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
No joy there for Porsen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Morgan wants to clinch up but Porsen keeps it at a distance.
Morgan seems to have recovered his senses.

Morgan scores with a takedown into Porsen's guard.
Porsen wants to stand and escape but Morgan is having none of it.
Porsen is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Morgan landing some decent shots from guard.
Porsen is trying to control the position but Morgan postures up.

Morgan gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Morgan forces Porsen back against the cage and clinches.
Morgan is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Porsen gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Morgan tries for a takedown. No joy.
Porsen tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Morgan just stands there and leans against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joseph Porsen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Porsen tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Morgan smiles and moves away.
Morgan throws the kick towards the body but Porsen avoids it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Dexter Morgan will probably get the nod.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Porsen scores with a jab to the jaw.
Morgan has a takedown stuffed.
Porsen tries to close the distance and clinch but Morgan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Morgan swats away the attempt to clinch by Porsen.
Morgan looks to throw the jab but Porsen is out of range.
Porsen scoring well with a low kick there.

Porsen closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Morgan to the mat! Morgan manages to get full guard.
Morgan keeping moving, preventing Porsen from controlling successfully.

Morgan is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Porsen landing with the ground and pound.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Porsen would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Morgan is looking for a triangle but Porsen pushes his legs off easily.
Porsen wants to pass the guard but Morgan is keeping the position.
Porsen tries to stand but Morgan is controlling from the bottom.
Morgan is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Morgan looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Morgan is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Porsen pushes down on Morgan's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Porsen is thwarting Morgan's attempts to control the position.
Porsen thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Porsen throws a strike but Morgan avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Morgan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Porsen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Porsen wants to control from the top but Morgan keeps moving.
Porsen postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Morgan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Porsen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Morgan not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Porsen wants to control from the top but Morgan keeps moving.

Morgan pushes a forearm under Porsen's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Porsen is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Dexter Morgan!
