Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dale Cook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and MICHAEL MILLER (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dale Cook! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, MICHAEL MILLER! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Dean Styles and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cook shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in MILLER's guard. MILLER working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Cook. MILLER wants to get back to his feet but Cook is in a dominant position and won't allow it. MILLER has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Cook throws a strike but MILLER rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. MILLER is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Cook has his hands on MILLER's head, controlling the position. MILLER postures up.
MILLER drops back looking for a leg! Cook is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cook manages to kick MILLER off! MILLER jumps back into Cook's guard. Cook working a defensive guard here.
Cook might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cook wants to sweep here but MILLER controlling him for the moment. Cook keeping moving, preventing MILLER from controlling successfully. MILLER gets to his feet - Cook follows without any prompting. MILLER shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cook is desperately trying to improve his position but MILLER has a good base and remains in mount. MILLER controlling the position easily from mount. MILLER wants to control the pace but Cook is squirming around nicely. MILLER looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cook wants to control but MILLER is having none of it. Cook wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. MILLER wants to control the position but Cook frees himself and scrambles - MILLER manages to regain control in side control.
Cook is looking for a sweep.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. MILLER misses with a takedown attempt and Cook counters with a takedown into side control. Cook trying to control the position but MILLER is working away. Cook is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because MILLER is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. MILLER tries to improve position but can't. Cook working away. Cook trying to control the position but MILLER is working away. MILLER is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. MILLER gets back to half guard. MILLER works his way to full guard. Good work. MILLER manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cook manages to get himself to full guard.
MILLER stands up from Cook's guard - MILLER perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. MILLER looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Cook gets the takedown into side control. MILLER dodges the ground and pound from Cook. An elbow from Cook crashes against the mat.
Cook wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by MILLER, who protects the arm well. Cook is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. MILLER knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Cook sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but MILLER is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Cook trying to control the action but MILLER is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Dale Cook will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
The fight stays on the outside here - Cook looks like he's thinking about clinching though. MILLER gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Cook counters with a nice double leg into side control. MILLER won't be happy with that. MILLER throws Cook to one side and escapes! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from MILLER. Cook lands a high kick!
Cook looks to land a combination. MILLER sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Cook is looking to clinch but MILLER is avoiding it.
Cook closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! MILLER is refusing to be controlled, as Cook sits in half guard. Cook thows a huge punch but MILLER dodges it nicely.
Cook trying to control the action but MILLER is working from the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Cook scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cook stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows MILLER to get to his feet. Cook shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Cook was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Cook landing shots from mount. MILLER wants to control but Cook is having none of it. MILLER is trying desperately to improve position. MILLER tries to control Cook's body but Cook pushes him off. MILLER squirms to his side and now Cook has his back! A lull in the action here.
MILLER can't escape the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. MILLER is trying to get back to his feet but Cook has full control of the position and if anything, MILLER has just worked his way into a worse spot. Cook tries to keep control of the position but MILLER is staying busy. Cook is trying to control but MILLER is trying to escape here - he's now mounted.
Cook looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Cook landing strikes from the mount. Cook wants to finish this one by submission but MILLER is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Cook. MILLER is trying to escape the mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. MILLER is squirming around, avoiding Cook's attempts to control the action. Cook goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now MILLER is on top in guard.
MILLER forces his way into half guard. Cook is on the bottom, trying to hold on to half guard. He's throwing a few small shots here, to keep his opponent honest. Cook is trying to maintain the position but MILLER is very close to passing his half guard. MILLER controlling the pace. Cook is trying to control but MILLER manages to pass to mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. MILLER controlling from the full mount. Cook is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. MILLER locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Cook is forced to tap!
