Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hank Dodson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Punski Nub (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Punski Nub is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dodson tries for a takedown but Nub sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Nub avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dodson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Nub doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Nub is on top in guard.

Dodson reaches up to try and control the position but Nub seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Dodson rolls and tries to escape and now Nub has his back!

Nub has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Dodson has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nub is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Dodson knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Dodson for a finish.
Nub has the hooks in. Dodson is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Dodson tries to clinch but Nub is having none of it.

Dodson dives in and grabs Nub's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nub pushes down on Dodson's head and hops out.
Dodson moves in looking to clinch but Nub pushes him off.

Dodson wants to finish this one by submission but Nub is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Dodson.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Nub slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Nub is trying to control but can't.
Dodson passes into side control, despite Nub's attempt to control the position.

Nub is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Dodson off and has taken his back!
Nub is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Dodson with him. Dodson is trying to defend but Nub has an arm under the chin now! Dodson grimaces and is forced to tap out!
