Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between James Rhodes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caleb Reimer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reimer is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by BLUNT- The Iron Maiden. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, James Rhodes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Caleb Reimer! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Damien Edna and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rhodes moves out of range as Reimer strikes. Rhodes looks to land a left hand but Reimer moved out of range nicely. Rhodes avoids a punch combination nicely.
Reimer just misses with a punch to the body.
Reimer is looking to clinch but Rhodes is avoiding it.
Reimer missing with a left hand there. Rhodes was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Reimer bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Reimer throws a looping overhand right but Rhodes ducks down to avoid it. A combination from Reimer does no damage. Reimer uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Reimer is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Reimer will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Rhodes turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Rhodes tries for a takedown but Reimer sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rhodes with a body punch. A glancing blow. A combination from Rhodes does no damage. Rhodes keeps the fight on the outside. Reimer tries to clinch but Rhodes moves out of range. Reimer showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Rhodes.
Reimer takes a swing at Rhodes's ribcage but misses. Reimer throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Rhodes throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Reimer's waist but Reimer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rhodes off to one side. Reimer with a body punch. A glancing blow. Reimer on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Reimer misses with a straight right. Rhodes lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reimer uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rhodes. Rhodes throws a sloppy head kick and Reimer moves out of range easily. Reimer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rhodes sprawls well. Rhodes wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Reimer gets slowly back to his feet. Reimer throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Rhodes ducks under a wild hook from Reimer. A slapping leg kick lands for Reimer.
Rhodes gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Reimer to score an easy takedown into full guard. Rhodes looking for a sweep. Not yet Rhodes, not yet. Reimer advances to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rhodes is defending against the submission attempts here by Reimer.
Reimer tries to pass to full mount but Rhodes defends it. Rhodes tries to get to full guard but Reimer has control of the leg. Reimer throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Rhodes is looking to escape. Reimer is looking for a kimura here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Rhodes misses with a looping right. Reimer takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

A close round but Caleb Reimer will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Reimer throws a big shot that misses. Reimer is looking to clinch. Rhodes takes one to the chin there. Reimer misses with an uppercut. Reimer looks to score with a jab to the body but Rhodes is just out of range. Reimer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rhodes manages to avoid it. Reimer ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Caleb Reimer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rhodes displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Reimer throws out the jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rhodes uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Reimer.
James Rhodes is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Reimer throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rhodes. Reimer scores with a sloppy right hand. Rhodes should have avoided that one. Reimer has Rhodes up against the cage in a clinch.
Reimer pushes Rhodes back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reimer lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Reimer comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Rhodes is trying to break the clinch but Reimer is controlling him. Nice body punch from Reimer. Reimer scores with an uppercut up the middle. Reimer is trying to drag Rhodes to the mat but Rhodes just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Reimer tries to land knees in the clinch but Rhodes avoids the damage to the body. A short body shot lands from Reimer as the two fighters clinch.
Reimer lands an elbow just above Rhodes 's eye. Reimer is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Rhodes can't fight it off and eventually Reimer manages to take the fight to the floor. Rhodes looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Reimer pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rhodes is keeping the position for now. Reimer passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reimer tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Reimer has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Reimer working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Reimer in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rhodes gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Reimer has hold of Rhodes's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Rhodes manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Reimer unloading with bombs! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rhodes is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Reimer throws some wild stikes that Rhodes manages to avoid easily.
Rhodes is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Rhodes has given up his back here. Will Reimer look for the submission or keep pounding away?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reimer working for a choke but Rhodes is defending well. Rhodes is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Reimer is breathing heavily. Rhodes holding both Reimer 's hands and preventing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Caleb Reimer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Rhodes tries to bum rush Reimer with a series of wild strikes but Reimer uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Reimer looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Rhodes! Rhodes on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Rhodes tries to get out of the position. Reimer sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Rhodes is looking to improve his position but Reimer isn't that keen on the idea. Reimer won't let Rhodes get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Reimer throwing strikes here but Rhodes is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Reimer is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Rhodes sees it coming and defends easily. Rhodes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Reimer on the ground.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Reimer moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Rhodes has worked his arm free - good work by Rhodes!
Reimer takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. The strikes coming from Reimer are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Reimer tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Reimer trying to control the action but Rhodes is working from the bottom. James Rhodes has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Rhodes struggling a bit here. Reimer tries to advance to mount but can't. Caleb Reimer is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Reimer trying to control the action but Rhodes is working from the bottom. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Reimer advances nicely into full mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Caleb Reimer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Reimer winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
