The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sweeperton tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sweeperton has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
McGrufus is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Sweeperton asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Sweeperton is looking to take a break and control but McGrufus is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Sweeperton thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That was a close second round but I would say that Rufus McGrufus will probably get the nod.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for McGrufus, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
