Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vic Mackey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson comes into the arena with Fight to Survive blaring out of the sound system. Ryan Anderson could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Vic Mackey's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryan Anderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vic Mackey! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Hirohito Nitta and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson tries to clinch but Mackey is having none of it. Anderson drops Mackey with a beautiful combination! Mackey stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Anderson is looking for the KO!
It looks like Vic Mackey has been cut. Mackey shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Anderson defends it nicely. Anderson could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Mackey closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. This has been an exciting period of action! Mackey is figuring out what he wants to do next. Anderson controlling the position well. Mackey is keen to just control but Anderson is a slippery customer. Anderson is trying to maintain the position but Mackey is very close to passing his half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson is staying active underneath Mackey, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Anderson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mackey on the ground.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Anderson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Mackey shoots for a double leg takedown but Anderson sprawls well. He's pushed Mackey's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Anderson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Ryan Anderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vic Mackey. Mackey thows a body shot but no joy. Anderson clinches up with Mackey and pushes him back against the cage. Mackey drops down looking for an ankle pick but Anderson pulls his leg out and moves away.
Anderson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mackey moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Anderson sizes up Mackey with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Mackey gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Anderson to score an easy takedown into full guard. Mackey looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mackey manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Anderson manages to get himself to full guard.
Anderson has his hands on Mackey's head, controlling the position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mackey trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Mackey stands up and waves to Anderson to follow him. Mackey has a takedown stuffed.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mackey shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Mackey wants to control from the top but Anderson keeps moving. Mackey stands up and waves to Anderson to follow him.

Anderson is trying to break the clinch but Mackey is controlling him. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Anderson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mackey smiles and moves away.
Ryan Anderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mackey shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mackey showed some decent athleticism there. Anderson tries to get to full guard but Mackey has control of the leg. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ryan Anderson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Anderson scores with a sloppy right hand. Mackey should have avoided that one. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Anderson here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Mackey shoots in for a takedown but Anderson shows good takedown defense. Ryan Anderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vic Mackey. Anderson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mackey. Anderson moves into the clinch. Anderson is trying to break the clinch but Mackey has him pressed against the cage. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Anderson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Anderson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Mackey has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Anderson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Anderson is desperately trying to improve his position but Mackey has a good base and remains in mount. Mackey controlling the pace for now. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Anderson holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Mackey tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Vic Mackey showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Vic Mackey's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Mackey landing strikes from the mount and Anderson is in trouble! Mackey is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Anderson can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Anderson is squirming around, avoiding Mackey's attempts to control the action.
And that's the end of the fight! Vic Mackey comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Mackey has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
