PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Paul Gee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Pan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Peter Pan!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pan fails in his attempt to clinch.
Gee looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Gee throws a series of punches but Pan avoids them all with ease.
Pan swings for the body but Gee moves out of range.
Gee ducks under a wild hook from Pan.
Gee throws a right hand that Pan ducks under and follows up with a left that Pan also avoids with ease.
Pan has a takedown stuffed.
Pan throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Gee counters with a crisp one two that drops Pan! Gee thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Pan to his feet! Pan is in big trouble!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pan fails to land the takedown.

Gee swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Pan takes the fight into the clinch.

Gee tries to break free but Pan pushes him back against the cage.

Gee has had enough of the clinch but Pan keeps him there for the moment.

Gee is fighting off a takedown attempt but Pan is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Gee to the mat. Gee regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Peter Pan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!
