The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, John Kavanagh and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesner scores with a three punch combo!
Lesner throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Jesse on the side of the head.
Lesner throws a series of punches but Jesse moves out of range.
Matt Lesner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lesner misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jesse swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Jesse decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Jesse drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jesse jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Lesner is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Jesse shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lesner manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Well Jesse has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
