Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Uncle Jesse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Lesner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Uncle Jesse could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Matt Lesner's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Uncle Jesse! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Matt Lesner! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, John Kavanagh and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lesner scores with a three punch combo!
Lesner throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Jesse on the side of the head. Lesner throws a series of punches but Jesse moves out of range. Matt Lesner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lesner misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jesse swings away with a leg kick that misses. Jesse decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Jesse looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Lesner looks like he's trying to stand up.
Lesner is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Jesse tries to pass the half guard into mount. Lesner knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Jesse is controlling the pace.
Jesse is nestled in close to Lesner, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jesse thows a huge punch but Lesner dodges it nicely.

Lesner has hold of Jesse's hands but Jesse slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Lesner regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Jesse. Lesner keeping moving, preventing Jesse from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jesse prevents Lesner from getting back to his feet. Jesse looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Jesse connects with a couple of short punches. Jesse won't allow Lesner to get back to his feet. Lesner looks gassed! Jesse wants to pass the guard but Lesner is keeping the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jesse controlling from the top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jesse thows a big elbow that misses. Jesse controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Jesse has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Uncle Jesse. Lesner throws a series of strikes that have Jesse backpedaling.
Lesner gets caught flat footed, as Jesse shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Jesse wanted to stand there but Lesner had control of the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lesner is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jesse is controlling him. Lesner being controlled here, momentarily. Jesse scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Jesse pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lesner is keeping the position for now. Lesner wants to stand up but Jesse is controlling him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

It looks like Matt Lesner has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jesse working some strikes from top position. Jesse wants to pass the guard but Lesner is keeping the position. Jesse throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lesner works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Jesse postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Lesner has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Jesse off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Lesner misses with a wild combination.
Jesse shoots in and bounces Lesner off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Lesner can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jesse controls the pace. Jesse might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Lesner is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jesse wants to control from the top but Lesner keeps moving. Jesse lands a couple of decent looking shots. Jesse is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Lesner uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Matt Lesner is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jesse takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. A punch combination from Jesse misses. Jesse closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lesner did well to prevent Jesse getting side control. Jesse content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Jesse trying to pass the guard but Lesner defending well. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Jesse in particular looking to stall. Lesner won't allow Jesse to pass to mount.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Uncle Jesse. Jesse shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Jesse keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Lesner's head. Jesse controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Jesse trying to control the position from guard on top but Lesner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jesse scoring with some ground and pound.

He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Jesse's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Jesse trying to control but Lesner is working from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jesse drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Lesner dives on top into guard. Jesse has a closed guard, preventing Lesner from standing up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Uncle Jesse dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Matt Lesner's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Jesse wants to clinch up but Lesner keeps it at a distance. Jesse shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jesse showed some decent athleticism there. Jesse knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lesner on the ground. Lesner pushes Jesse off and gets back to his feet. Lesner will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jesse wants to clinch. Jesse drives through with a takedown into guard. Jesse postures up in Lesner's guard and throws a big left but Lesner blocks it. Jesse showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lesner wants to stand but Jesse is controlling the position. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Jesse's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Jesse slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Jesse throwing strikes from guard but Lesner blocks nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Jesse postures up in Lesner's guard and throws a big left but Lesner blocks it. Jesse drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jesse jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Lesner is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Jesse throwing strikes but missing. Lesner has momentary wrist control but Jesse slips an elbow through the middle. Jesse controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lesner wants to get back to his feet but Jesse passes into half guard.
Jesse performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Jesse working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Lesner looks like he's trying to stand up.
Jesse is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Jesse trying to control the pace. Matt Lesner has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Uncle Jesse overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lesner tries to kick Jesse off but Jesse keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Jesse looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Uncle Jesse is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Uncle Jesse. Jesse shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lesner manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
And that's the end of the fight! Uncle Jesse showed his dominance in that final round. Well Jesse has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
