Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mister Grapple!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Grapple.
Mister Grapple seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith II fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Grapple manages to avoid it.
Smith II throws a right and a left that both miss.
Smith II thows a body shot but no joy.
Grapple fails with a takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smith II slaps away a takedown attempt from Grapple, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Umbabarauma Smith II has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mister Grapple.
Grapple looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith II throws a series of punches but Grapple avoids them all with ease.
Grapple has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Grapple there as he acknowledges the shot.
Grapple has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Smith II finds it's way round the side to connect with Grapple's head.
Smith II lands with a big left! Grapple is wobbled badly! Smith II comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Grapple to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Umbabarauma Smith II!
