Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Acevedes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Pan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Acevedes comes to the cage accompanied by California Love. Marcus Acevedes could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Peter Pan's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcus Acevedes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Pan! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pan moves away from the strike by Acevedes. Acevedes showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Pan.
Pan lands a left and a right that send Acevedes crashing to the mat, dazed. Pan thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Acevedes is rocked!
It looks like Marcus Acevedes has been cut. Pan tries to close the distance and clinch but Acevedes swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Oh Acevedes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! No joy there for Pan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Acevedes seems to have got his legs back now. Peter Pan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pan shoots in for a double leg but Acevedes sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Acevedes closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pan circles away. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Acevedes moves out of range of the strikes. Acevedes defending well as Pan loads up on a big left hand. Pan misses with a takedown and Acevedes counters with a lovely straight right hand! Acevedes scores with a jab to the body. Acevedes avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round. Acevedes looks to score with a jab to the body but Pan is just out of range. Pan swinging wildly here.
Acevedes gets the takedown into side control. Pan is trying to get back to half guard. An elbow from Acevedes crashes against the mat.
Acevedes happy to just control the position for now. Pan parries the strikes from Acevedes easily there. Acevedes is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Pan to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Acevedes advances to full mount. Pan is looking to improve his position but Acevedes isn't that keen on the idea. Pan wants to try and get back to his feet. Acevedes is looking to work his way around to Pan's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position. Acevedes tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Pan is trying to stand up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pan working to try and regain half guard.
Pan tries to lock up and control but Acevedes gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Acevedes trying to control but he's not successful this time. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pan can do anything to dispel that myth. Pan is trying to escape the mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Acevedes lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Acevedes tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Pan tries to hold on but Acevedes postures up. Pan is desperately trying to improve his position but Acevedes has a good base and remains in mount. Pan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Acevedes. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Pan is squirming around, avoiding Acevedes's attempts to control the action. Pan tries to buck Acevedes off but he can't manage it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Peter Pan dominated that round. The cut man is working on Marcus Acevedes's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Pan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Acevedes counters with a lovely straight right hand! Pan wants to clinch and Acevedes counters with a single leg into guard. Pan didn't expect that. Pan controls Acevedes momentarily but Acevedes frees himself. Acevedes trying to control but Pan is working from the bottom. Pan lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Acevedes! Acevedes working to try and regain half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pan landing punches. Pan landing strikes from the mount. Acevedes takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Acevedes is desperately trying to improve his position but Pan has a good base and remains in mount. Pan wants to control the pace but Acevedes is squirming around nicely. Acevedes holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Pan tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Acevedes sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Pan trying to control the action but Acevedes is working from the bottom. Acevedes avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Pan. Pan looks to land a strike but Acevedes avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Pan trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Pan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Pan preventing the sweep. Acevedes preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Pan looking to pass the guard. Acevedes has control of Pan's left arm, preventing Pan from doing any damage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Acevedes scores with a crisp jab that stopped Pan in his tracks. Pan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Acevedes swats him away and circles back towards the center. Pan doesn't succeed with the takedown enabling Acevedes to counter with a crisp jab. Pan throws the left hand but Acevedes avoids the punch easily. Pan tries to clinch but Acevedes moves out of range. Pan shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Acevedes is trying to defend but Pan finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Pan is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Acevedes reverses the position - he's now on top in Pan's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pan wants to sweep but no luck. Acevedes stops Pan from standing up. Acevedes pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Pan is keeping the position for now. Acevedes is fighting to break Pan's control of his arms but Pan is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Pan is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Peter Pan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Marcus Acevedes's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Pan has his takedown stuffed and Acevedes counters with a takedown into side control. Pan tries to bench press Acevedes off him but Acevedes keeps the position. Marcus Acevedes overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Acevedes trying to control the action but Pan is working from the bottom. Acevedes remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
That's one minute gone in the round. Acevedes taking a break here but Pan is having none of it and regains half guard. Pan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Acevedes content to control rather than advance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Pan wants to improve his position but Acevedes is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Acevedes is keen to just control but Pan is a slippery customer. Pan tries to roll over but Acevedes keeps him under control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pan scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Acevedes manages to mount him!
Acevedes wants to control but instead Pan manages to regain half guard. Acevedes tries to pass to full mount but Pan defends it. Acevedes prevents Pan from standing back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Pan keeps control of the position for the meantime. Pan wants to get back to his feet.
Marcus Acevedes has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Pan pushes Acevedes off but Acevedes dives into side control.
Peter Pan is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Acevedes is looking to take a break and control but Pan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Marcus Acevedes showed his dominance in that final round. I think Pan has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
