Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Icarus Daidalou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Price (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daidalou shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Price is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Daidalou can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Price is looking to escape.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Daidalou is landing with some decent strikes but Price is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Daidalou shoots for a double leg takedown but Price sprawls well. He's pushed Daidalou's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Daidalou wants to control but Price is keeping him busy.
Icarus Daidalou overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

and Daidalou counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Daidalou stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Price swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Daidalou, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
