Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mikey Wolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Ruiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wolf avoids the head kick by Ruiz.
Wolf clinches up against the cage.
Ruiz tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Wolf avoids it.
Ruiz pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ruiz clinches.
Wolf's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Wolf shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Wolf thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Wolf wanted to stand there but Ruiz had control of the position.
Wolf won't allow Ruiz to sweep him here.
Ruiz is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Wolf defends well.
Wolf is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Wolf pushes down on Ruiz's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Wolf is looking to advance position but Ruiz won't allow it.
Wolf is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ruiz doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Wolf.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wolf is stalling here. Ruiz is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Wolf seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Ruiz has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Wolf is trying to control Ruiz's posture but Ruiz avoids it.
Wolf manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Ruiz is trying to maintain the position but Wolf is very close to passing his half guard.
Ruiz is not content to let Wolf control the position.
Ruiz tries to kick Wolf off but Wolf keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Wolf wants to clinch
and Ruiz counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Ruiz.
Wolf tries for a takedown. No joy.
Ruiz misses with a knee strike.
Wolf is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Ruiz gets control of Wolf's arms and successfully pulls guard. Ruiz will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Wolf cracks Ruiz with a solid left hand.

Wolf decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Ruiz, up you get!
Wolf tries to clinch
and Ruiz counters with a nice low kick that buckles Wolf's knee momentarily.
Wolf cracks a nice hook into Ruiz's ribs.
Ruiz keeps the fight on the outside.
Ruiz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wolf's waist but Wolf gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ruiz off to one side.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mikey Wolf. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ruiz swings wildly with an uppercut but Wolf uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ruiz tries to pull guard but Wolf holds him up against the cage and eventually Ruiz drops back down to his feet.
Ruiz tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Wolf gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Ruiz escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wolf gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mikey Wolf dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Wolf shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ruiz napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Wolf is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ruiz knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
You can see the frustration on Ruiz's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
