The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dumas is defended easily by Kimura.
A clash of legs there as Kimura blocks the low kick.
Kimura closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kimura lands in his opponent's guard.
Dumas can't keep his opponent in guard - Kimura advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Dumas looking for submissions off his back.
Dumas is staying active underneath Kimura, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Dumas is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Kimura has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Dumas is working to get back to half guard.
Kimura throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Kimura looking for a guillotine from mount but Dumas is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dumas tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Dumas is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Dumas tries to improve his position but Kimura has taken his back! Kimura has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Dumas tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Kimura pushes Dumas away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
