PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Whirl Wind (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sanae Kondo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanae Kondo told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wind throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kondo was covering up waiting for the punch and Wind finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Wind tries to free his leg and advance position but Kondo is retaining full guard.
Wind trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Kondo manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Kondo trying to control but Wind is working from the bottom.
Kondo is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Wind has his foot on Kondo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kondo works his way back into a safe position though.

Wind has an active guard here but Kondo has managed to pass into half guard.
Wind tries to get to full guard but Kondo has control of the leg.
