Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Archie Duncan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniele Medeo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Archie Duncan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Daniele Medeo! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Eddie Farnsworth and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big left from Medeo misses. Duncan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Medeo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Duncan moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Medeo slips under a jab from Duncan. Medeo misses with an uppercut. Duncan saw that one coming. Duncan throws a jab when Medeo was well out of range. Duncan thows a body shot but no joy. Duncan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Medeo manages to avoid it. Duncan on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
It looks like Archie Duncan has been cut. Duncan has a takedown stuffed. Medeo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Medeo throws a hook to the side of Duncan's head but Duncan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Duncan blocks a jab. Medeo moves into range and connects with a jab. Medeo thows a left - swing and a miss! Medeo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Duncan was well out of range. Poor timing from Medeo. Duncan drops Medeo with a beautiful combination! Medeo stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Duncan is looking for the KO!
It looks like Daniele Medeo has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Duncan misses with a combination
and Medeo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Duncan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Medeo with a nice cross. Duncan slips a straight right by Medeo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duncan staying out of range there. Medeo misses with a hook. Duncan ducked under it nicely. Medeo looks to land a right hand but Duncan moved out of range. Medeo slaps away a takedown attempt from Duncan, before circling back to the center of the mat. Duncan lands with a big left! Medeo is wobbled badly! Duncan comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Medeo to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Archie Duncan!
