The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munroe uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Smith.
Smith fails to land with a series of punches.
Munroe swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Smith counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Amanda Munroe has been cut.
Smith lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Smith avoids the head kick by Munroe.
Smith throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Munroe tries to keep at a distance but Smith has taken the fight into the clinch.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
