Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andre Marcelo Riberio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Burton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riberio avoids the body shot from Burton.
Riberio shoots in and drives through. Burton sprawls well.
Riberio shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Burton but Burton pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Riberio fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Burton avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andre Marcelo Riberio. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Burton stuffs the takedown attempt from Riberio. Riberio gets slowly back to his feet.
Burton lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Riberio circles away quickly and effectively.
Burton fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Riberio ducks under a wild hook from Burton.
Jack Burton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Burton throws a right and a left that Riberio avoids nicely.
Riberio shoots in for a takedown but Burton shows good takedown defense.

Riberio shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Burton napping and manages to drive through into side control!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
You can see the frustration on Burton's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Riberio tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Burton is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Riberio has hold of Burton's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Burton seems comfortable defending it but Riberio has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Burton is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Burton is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Riberio couldn't care less - he's delighted!
