Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Robert al Matador (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Robert al Matador!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Bobby Moore!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moore keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Nice takedown defense from al Matador. No joy for Moore on that attempt.
al Matador connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Moore's hands.
al Matador tries to clinch up but Moore circles away and keeps his distance.

al Matador has managed to clinch.
Good body shot from al Matador.
al Matador lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Moore backwards.
Moore can't get the takedown.
Moore changes levels and goes for a takedown here. al Matador fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Robert al Matador has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Moore.
Moore misses with a two punch combination.

Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Moore!
Moore fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Moore throws a nice looking combination but al Matador bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
al Matador tries to clinch but Moore is having none of it.
al Matador displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Moore.

Moore swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
al Matador tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Moore keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Moore shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with al Matador but al Matador pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Moore slips under a jab.

Moore feints and as al Matador raises his hands in defense, Moore changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
al Matador is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Moore sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed al Matador's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

al Matador is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Moore scores with a couple of nice shots.

Moore is nestled in close to al Matador, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Well, if Moore is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Moore wants to pass to mount but al Matador is defending the position.
Moore has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Moore is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but al Matador is surviving well by controlling Moore's body position as best he can.

Moore lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
al Matador on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if al Matador tries to get out of the position.

al Matador defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Moore.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Moore controlling from the full mount.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Moore lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Moore closes this distance looking for a takedown but al Matador circles away.

Moore avoids the head kick by al Matador.
Moore rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but al Matador moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
al Matador tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Moore is able to avoid easily.
Bobby Moore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Moore decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
al Matador is refusing to be controlled, as Moore sits in half guard.

al Matador is defending against the submission attempts here by Moore.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Bobby Moore has got the better of the ground game so far.
Moore passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for al Matador!
Moore can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as al Matador is looking to escape.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Moore is working for a guillotine from mount but al Matador frees his head quite easily.
al Matador tries to lock up and control but Moore gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Moore won't let al Matador get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Moore tries to push al Matador's head away but al Matador is holding on tight.
al Matador tries to hold on but Moore postures up.

Moore is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. al Matador can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Moore looking to control but al Matador is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
A nice elbow there by Moore.
Moore content just to control the position here.

Moore working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. al Matador looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Moore! Submission of the night perhaps?
