Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dresden Carmichael (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Curtis Fresh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carmichael blocks a jab.
Carmichael tries to clinch up but Fresh circles away and keeps his distance.
Carmichael throws a head kick that misses.
Fresh misses with a looping right.
Fresh misses with the combination.
Fresh misses the shot to the body.
Fresh misses with a two punch combination.
Carmichael slips a jab and a cross from Fresh.
Fresh throws a right and a left that Carmichael avoids nicely.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Carmichael, as that shot connected.
It looks like Curtis Fresh has been cut.
Fresh lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Carmichael circles away quickly and effectively.
Carmichael throws a leg kick which misses Fresh's front leg but catches the back leg as Fresh tries to avoid it.
Carmichael fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Fresh moves out of range of the strikes.
Fresh clobbers Carmichael with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Fresh tries to clinch but Carmichael moves out of range.
Fresh goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Carmichael tries to keep at a distance but Fresh has taken the fight into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fresh wants to break the clinch but can't.
A left hand lands to the body for Carmichael.
Fresh tries to break free but Carmichael pushes him back against the cage.

Carmichael tries to work over Fresh's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Carmichael swings wildly with an uppercut but Fresh uses good head movement to avoid it.

Carmichael has Fresh pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Fresh is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Carmichael - that's hurt Fresh badly! Oh, another knee lands and Fresh is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Fresh doesn't seem to be complaining.
