Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rusty Tibbens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and wacky McKy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rusty Tibbens! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, wacky McKy! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McKy shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tibbens as he avoids it easily. Tibbens tries to score a power double leg takedown but McKy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tibbens somewhat. Tibbens takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like Rusty Tibbens has been cut. McKy fails with an attempt to clinch.
McKy tries to clinch there but Tibbens circles away.
McKy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. McKy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Tibbens looks for a takedown but McKy sprawls well. McKy with a poor takedown and Tibbens counters with a nice double leg into side control. McKy won't be happy with that. This has been an exciting period of action! Tibbens scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at McKy to see if he's OK. Tibbens is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt McKy will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Tibbens tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tibbens has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's one minute gone in the round. McKy prevents Tibbens from improving position. McKy is trying to get back to half guard. McKy is trying to escape the position but Tibbens is controlling the position. Tibbens lands a nice forearm strike. McKy takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. McKy struggling a bit here. Tibbens lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear McKy down.
Tibbens decides to stand up, so the ref orders McKy to his feet. McKy doesn't succeed with the takedown and Tibbens counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Rusty Tibbens has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of wacky McKy. Tibbens is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McKy moves into full guard.

Tibbens drops back looking for a leg! McKy is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and McKy manages to kick Tibbens off! Tibbens jumps back into McKy's guard. McKy is trying to control the position but Tibbens postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. McKy striking off his back but it's not causing Tibbens any problems. Tibbens is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Tibbens pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. McKy is keeping the position for now. Tibbens working some strikes from top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tibbens scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McKy regains half guard. McKy keeps control of the position for the meantime. Tibbens content to control rather than advance. Tibbens passes the guard and advances to mount! Tibbens content just to control the position here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. McKy gets back to half guard. Tibbens is figuring out what he wants to do next. McKy flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. McKy tries to get to full guard but Tibbens has control of the leg. Tibbens is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for McKy! Tibbens looking for a guillotine from mount but McKy is having none of it. Tibbens lands a nice shot to the head. McKy is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
McKy tries to control Tibbens's body but Tibbens pushes him off. McKy squirms to his side and now Tibbens has his back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tibbens tightening his grip on McKy, looking for the choke. Tibbens scores with punches from the back.
Tibbens gets his hands free as McKy looks to control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tibbens is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Tibbens gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Tibbens gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Tibbens apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Tibbens punishes McKy's body with a nice straight punch. Tibbens clinches. Tibbens jumps guard.
McKy missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. McKy thows a big elbow that misses. Tibbens has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Tibbens looking to hit a scissor sweep but McKy is one step ahead there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rusty Tibbens dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Rusty Tibbens's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
McKy closes the distance but Tibbens moves to the side and Tibbens counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Tibbens wants to control from the top but McKy keeps moving. McKy is pulling down on Tibbens's head to control his posture. McKy will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
McKy manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Tibbens is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. McKy scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Tibbens?
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Tibbens tries to lock up and control but McKy gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Tibbens is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Rusty Tibbens overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. McKy connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Tibbens is in a horrible position here. McKy smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Tibbens holds on for dear life. McKy wants to control the pace but Tibbens is squirming around nicely. Tibbens is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tibbens is squirming around, avoiding McKy's attempts to control the action. McKy lands with some strikes. Tibbens gets back to half guard. McKy trying to control from half guard but Tibbens is working away. Tibbens tries to regain full guard. Instead though, McKy has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Tibbens tries to lock up and control but McKy gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. A nice elbow there by McKy. Tibbens gets back to half guard. McKy seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tibbens does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Tibbens avoiding damage under a succession of punches from McKy. McKy wants to stand up but Tibbens is controlling the position.
McKy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tibbens keeps working. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. McKy not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
And that's the end of the fight! Rusty Tibbens showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Tibbens, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
