Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Shane Carwin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Archibald Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carwin takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Carwin shoots in for a double leg but Anderson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Carwin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Anderson tries to avoid it but Carwin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Anderson to the ground. Anderson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Carwin shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Anderson wants to control but Carwin is keeping busy and won't allow it.

That was a close round but I would say that Shane Carwin will probably get the nod.

It looks like Shane Carwin has been cut.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Anderson shoots in but Carwin avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Carwin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

That's time! Carwin's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!


That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Carwin crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Anderson - the referee stops the clock and Carwin gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Anderson. Carwin manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
