Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Don Bimse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Stout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stout comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Back in Black - AC/DC kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Don Bimse! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sam Stout! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bimse drives through with a takedown into guard. Stout controlling the position. Bimse trying to control the position from guard on top but Stout is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bimse pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Stout is keeping the position for now. Stout keeping moving, preventing Bimse from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stout preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Bimse trying to control the position from guard on top but Stout is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Bimse is looking to advance position but Stout has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Stout throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Stout connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Stout pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Stout looking to secure an arm triangle but Bimse defends it well. Stout punching from mount but Bimse doing a good job of avoiding damage. Stout is working for a guillotine from mount but Bimse frees his head quite easily.
Bimse really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Stout throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Stout goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Bimse is on top in guard.
Bimse loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bimse postures up in Stout's guard and throws a big left but Stout blocks it. Stout controlling the position. Bimse trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Stout pulls Bimse in close to his closed guard and prevents Bimse from doing any damage or advancing position. Bimse throwing strikes from guard but Stout blocks nicely. Bimse looking to sit in guard and control but Stout gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bimse trying to control the position.
Stout throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bimse works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Bimse utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Bimse trying to keep a closed guard but Stout is proving a slippery customer.
Stout thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Stout decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bimse, up you get! Stout throws a hook but Bimse blocks it. Stout misses with a looping left.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Horrible takedown by Bimse or perhaps it was just good defense by Stout which made him look bad. Stout throws a lazy right hand but Bimse sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Bimse throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Stout tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Bimse is in Stout's guard. Bimse wants to control from the top but Stout keeps moving. Bimse slips nicely into half guard. Stout is holding on to half guard well. Stout is trying to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sam Stout dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Bimse fails to land the takedown. Stout fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Bimse on the side of the head. Bimse keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Stout. Stout paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Stout is looking to clinch. Stout moves in looking to clinch but Bimse pushes him off. Bimse shoots in for a takedown but Stout shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Bimse keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Stout. Stout tries to clinch up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bimse keeps the fight on the outside. Bimse avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bimse shoots in for a double leg but Stout sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Don Bimse. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bimse scores a takedown into full mount! Bimse throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Bimse can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Stout is looking to escape. Stout blocking the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bimse throwing strikes but Stout recovers to half guard. A much better position. Bimse is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Stout defends it well. Bimse is trying to work for a kimura but Stout is defending well.
Bimse is looking to pass Stout's guard but actually Stout recovers to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stout wants to stand but Bimse is controlling the position. Stout tries to land a sweep but no joy. Bimse drops back, looking for a kneebar! Stout looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Stout looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Stout! Bimse is looking to regain half guard here but Stout keeps moving and retains side control. Stout is trying to get an arm triangle but Bimse is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Bimse avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Stout. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Stout tries for a kimura but Bimse is defending well. Bimse tries to buck Stout off but Stout is having none of it. Stout looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Bimse is avoiding damage well.
Bimse struggling a bit here. Bimse is looking to regain half guard here but Stout keeps moving and retains side control. Bimse prevents Stout from moving into mount. Bimse is trying to control Stout's posture but Stout avoids it. Bimse manages to work his way to half guard, despite Stout's best efforts. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sam Stout showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Bimse will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Bimse shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stout but Stout pushes him off and we're back to square one. Stout is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Stout throws a jab but it's blocked by Bimse. Bimse dives in and grabs Stout's left leg, looking for a takedown. Stout pushes down on Bimse's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Don Bimse. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bimse throws an overhand right that lands on Stout's shoulder, as Stout tries to avoid the shot. Bimse tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Stout swivels and escapes. Stout thuds his shin into the meat of Bimse's side. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stout fails in his attempt to clinch. Bimse blocks a jab. Stout throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Stout just misses with a punch to the body.
Bimse on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Stout drops Bimse with a beautiful combination! Bimse stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Stout is looking for the KO!
It looks like Don Bimse has been cut. Stout swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Stout misses with a wild body shot. Stout is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice defenses there by Bimse. Stout thows a body shot but no joy. Stout throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Stout misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bimse.
Stout is looking to clinch but Bimse is avoiding it.
Stout throws a lazy right hand but Bimse sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Bimse looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stout is fending him off so far but Bimse persists. Nope, Stout circles away and we're back to standing. Bimse bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bimse shoots in for a takedown but Stout shows good takedown defense. Stout slaps away a takedown attempt from Bimse, before circling back to the center of the mat. Bimse swats away the attempt to clinch by Stout. Stout misses with a straight left. Some bone on bone action there as Bimse checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Stout misses with a hook. Bimse looks for a takedown but Stout sprawls well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Stout misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bimse.
Stout stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Stout wants it to stay on the feet. Stout misses the shot to the body. Nice takedown defense from Stout. No joy for Bimse on that attempt. Stout defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bimse. Stout fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sam Stout is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bimse feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Don Bimse has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bimse thows a big elbow that misses.
And that's the end of the fight! Sam Stout comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Stout has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
