Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Kukuczka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Whiplash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kukuczka's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, J.O.D. - Musica Knockout. Cody Whiplash looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of London, Daniel Kukuczka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Cody Whiplash!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Richard Clark and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kukuczka lands with a slapping head kick.


It looks like Cody Whiplash has been cut.
Whiplash looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Kukuczka looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Whiplash takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Kukuczka tries for a takedown but Whiplash sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Kukuczka rushes Whiplash and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Kukuczka's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kukuczka throws a nice head kick!
Kukuczka throws a head kick but Whiplash moves out of range.
A solid leg kick lands there for Kukuczka.
Whiplash blocks a head kick by Kukuczka.
Kukuczka looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Whiplash is fending him off so far but Kukuczka persists. Nope, Whiplash circles away and we're back to standing.
Both fighters circling a little - Kukuczka finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Whiplash ducks under a wild hook from Kukuczka.
Kukuczka throws a head kick that half lands.
Kukuczka throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Whiplash.


That has opened up Cody Whiplash's cut even more.

Kukuczka moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Kukuczka moves into the clinch successfully.
Kukuczka landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Kukuczka scores with a knee to the head.

Kukuczka jumps into guard, dragging Whiplash to the mat.
Kukuczka wants to stand up but Whiplash is controlling him.

Kukuczka escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Whiplash gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kukuczka is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Whiplash is aware though and is defending well.

Kukuczka pushes Whiplash off and gets back to his feet.

Kukuczka drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Kukuczka tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kukuczka has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Kukuczka stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Whiplash looks for a takedown but Kukuczka sprawls well.
Kukuczka tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A head kick from Kukuczka lands but Whiplash takes it in his stride.
Kukuczka misses with a head kick.
Whiplash looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Kukuczka throws a head kick that misses.
Whiplash shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kukuczka but Kukuczka pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Daniel Kukuczka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cody Whiplash.
Kukuczka tries to clinch but Whiplash is having none of it.
Kukuczka pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Horrible takedown by Whiplash or perhaps it was just good defense by Kukuczka which made him look bad.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

An inside leg kick lands from Kukuczka.
Kukuczka throws a sloppy head kick and Whiplash moves out of range easily.
Kukuczka tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Daniel Kukuczka is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
A head kick from Kukuczka lands but Whiplash takes it in his stride.
Kukuczka throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Whiplash swats away the attempt to clinch by Kukuczka.

Whiplash gets caught flat footed, as Kukuczka shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Kukuczka postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Whiplash is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kukuczka, into his guard.

Whiplash misses with a takedown attempt - Kukuczka sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Kukuczka throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Whiplash.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kukuczka, right into the meat.
Kukuczka lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

and Kukuczka counters with a three punch combo that has Whiplash backing up. Whiplash nods at Kukuczka to acknowledge the strikes.

Whiplash shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kukuczka sprawls well. Kukuczka wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Whiplash gets slowly back to his feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kukuczka tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Whiplash manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Whiplash takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Kukuczka scoring well with a low kick there.
Kukuczka looks to throw the jab but Whiplash is out of range.
Whiplash dives in and grabs Kukuczka's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kukuczka pushes down on Whiplash's head and hops out.

Kukuczka throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Whiplash tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kukuczka is in Whiplash's guard.

Whiplash closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kukuczka to the mat! Kukuczka manages to get full guard.

Kukuczka wants to stand up but Whiplash is controlling him.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Kukuczka has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Whiplash can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Kukuczka is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Whiplash drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kukuczka looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kukuczka looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kukuczka!

Kukuczka is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Whiplash knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Kukuczka stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Kukuczka is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Whiplash.

Kukuczka lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Kukuczka tries a head kick but it misses.
Kukuczka could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Kukuczka slaps away a takedown attempt from Whiplash, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Kukuczka throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kukuczka misses with a straight right.

Kukuczka gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Whiplash tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Kukuczka pushes Whiplash away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Whiplash gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

And that's the end of the fight!
Cody Whiplash comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Kukuczka has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
