Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mick Lenny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Leary (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lenny's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Convoy. The key to victory for Mick Lenny has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Leary shoots in and drives through. Lenny sprawls well. Lenny is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Leary. Leary dodges the punch combination from Lenny.
Lenny misses with a double jab.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Leary. Leary working the head and body with strikes. Lenny tries to improve position but can't. Sloppy strikes there by Leary. Lenny manages to get back to half guard. Lenny gets back to full guard.
Lenny is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Leary defends well. Lenny working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Leary doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Leary manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's one minute gone in the round. Leary working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Lenny preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Leary postures up.
Leary with a flurry of punches that miss. Lenny looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Lenny is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Leary slips nicely into half guard. Leary is pressing down on Lenny's thigh, looking to free his foot. Lenny is holding on for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Leary with the ground and pound but Lenny uses the opportunity to regain guard. Lenny trying to control the position.
Lenny is looking to stand up but Leary isn't so interested in that idea.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Lenny is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Leary defends well. Leary connects with a couple of short punches. Leary trying to control but Lenny is working from the bottom. Leary sitting in guard here, content to control. Lenny tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Leary postures up in Lenny's guard and throws a big left but Lenny blocks it. Leary wants to control from the top but Lenny keeps moving. Lenny wants to stand but Leary is controlling the position. Leary won't allow Lenny to sweep him here. Leary missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Lenny keeping moving, preventing Leary from controlling successfully. Lenny manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Leary connects with a solid leg kick. Mick Lenny is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A slapping leg kick lands for Leary.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Leary moves out of range as Lenny strikes. Leary shoots in and bounces Lenny off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Lenny is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Leary stands up over Lenny, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Leary won't allow Lenny to get back to his feet. Lenny tries to land a sweep but no joy. Leary works over Lenny with some ground and pound from guard. Leary with a nice head shot there. Lenny is trying to keep Leary in close.
Leary is looking to advance position but Lenny has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tim Leary dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Lenny scores with a sloppy right hand. Leary should have avoided that one. Mick Lenny seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Leary staying out of range there. Lenny loads up on a big right hand but Leary slips the punch. Lenny lands a really nice looking cross but Leary seems unphased.
Lenny throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Leary looks to throw the jab but Lenny is out of range. Lenny on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Leary. Leary obviously looking to wear him down.
Leary throws a leg kick but Lenny moved away. Lenny scores with a nice strike. Lenny takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Leary walks into a jab. Leary lets loose with a powerful body kick. Lenny will feel that in the morning. Lenny moves into range and connects with a jab. Leary staying out of range there. Lenny misses with an uppercut. Leary saw that one coming. Leary throws a leg kick but Lenny sees it coming and checks it nicely. Leary looks for the body kick but Lenny saw that one coming. Leary staying out of range there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lenny misses the shot to the body. Lenny defending well as Leary loads up on a big left hand. Leary shoots in looking for a takedown. Lenny tries to sprawl out of it but Leary keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lenny manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Lenny lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. A lazy left from Lenny finds it's target. Leary with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Lenny to score with a decent uppercut. Lenny is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Lenny moves out of range of the body kick from Leary.
Lenny connects with a body shot. Leary gets a takedown into half guard. Leary not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Lenny wants to control but Leary is keeping busy.
Leary not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lenny trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Lenny is trying desperately to improve position. Leary lands a nice shot to the head.
It looks like Mick Lenny has been cut. Leary avoids the attempt from Lenny to control. Leary landing strikes, looking to finish!
Mick Lenny's cut is getting worse. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Leary looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Lenny wants to hold on but Leary pushes him away.

Jeez, Mick Lenny's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mick Lenny's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
