Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jim Saliva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Wilder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilder is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: One Minute Silence - Brainspiller. Jim Saliva is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Max Wilder! The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilder takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Wilder fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Saliva avoids it really well and circles away. Max Wilder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Saliva gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Wilder postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Saliva is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Wilder, into his guard. Saliva is looking to stand up but Wilder won't let him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wilder is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Saliva decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Saliva scores with a hook to the body. Wilder takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Saliva lands a jab to the head.
Nice takedown defense from Saliva. No joy for Wilder on that attempt. Wilder fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Jim Saliva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. Saliva lands a nice hook to Wilder's body. Wilder takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Saliva throws a wild body kick that Wilder sees coming a mile off. Wilder shoots in but no luck this time. Saliva works over Wilder's head and body with a nice combination. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Saliva tests Wilder's chin there with a solid looking shot. Wilder is trying hard to land a takedown here. Saliva sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. And thats the end of the round the fighters go back to their corners.

Wilder dives in and grabs Saliva's left leg, looking for a takedown. Saliva pushes down on Wilder's head and hops out. Saliva connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Wilder has a takedown stuffed. Jim Saliva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Wilder. Saliva tests Wilder's chin there with a solid looking shot. Wilder avoids the head kick by Saliva.

That's one minute gone in the round. Wilder shoots in but Saliva avoids the takedown attempt easily. Saliva will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Wilder shoots for a double leg takedown but Saliva sprawls well. He's pushed Wilder's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Saliva thuds a left hand into Wilder's body. Wilder moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Saliva displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Wilder. Jim Saliva is winning the standup battle so far. Saliva lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Saliva scores with a one two! Wilder had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Nice body kick from Saliva. Saliva thuds his right hand into Wilder's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Saliva cracks Wilder with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Saliva is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Saliva throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Saliva lands a body shot.
Wilder shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Saliva defends it nicely. Wilder has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Saliva is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Saliva rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wilder moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Saliva looks to land a combination but Wilder avoids it well. Saliva misses with a body shot.
Saliva keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Saliva throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Wilder fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Wilder looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wilder throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Saliva works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Saliva wants to stand up but Wilder is controlling him. Wilder looking to pass the guard. Wilder won't allow Saliva to get back to his feet. Wilder missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. And thats the end of the round the fighters go back to their corners.

Saliva is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Wilder looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Saliva lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Saliva misses with the combination.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Saliva bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Wilder's head. Wilder walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Saliva getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Wilder drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Wilder misses with a double jab
and Saliva counters with a stiff right hand. Saliva throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
And that's the end of the fight! Jim Saliva showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Saliva, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
