Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Kelly! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Coconut Bagaganja! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bagaganja cracks Kelly with an open hand slap. Bagaganja dives in and grabs Kelly's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kelly pushes down on Bagaganja's head and hops out. A shot to the liver by Bagaganja. Beautiful body shot. Bagaganja looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kelly is fending him off so far but Bagaganja persists. Nope, Kelly circles away and we're back to standing. Kelly stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kelly wants it to stay on the feet. Josh Kelly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Coconut Bagaganja. Kelly keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bagaganja moves in looking to clinch but Kelly pushes him off. Bagaganja closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Bagaganja is putting a hurting on Kelly here, landing some big shots from side control. Bagaganja looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Bagaganja creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Kelly sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bagaganja goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Kelly has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Bagaganja but great work by Kelly. Bagaganja wants to control but Kelly postures up. Kelly in side control lands a decent elbow. Bagaganja is trying to improve his position. Bagaganja taking punishment in the form of punches.
Bagaganja is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Bagaganja struggling a bit here. Kelly lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Bagaganja down.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bagaganja is working to avoid the ground and pound but Kelly connects with a decent elbow. Kelly cracks Bagaganja with a big elbow. Bagaganja wants to control but Kelly postures up. Kelly creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bagaganja taking punishment in the form of punches.
Bagaganja takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Kelly scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Bagaganja to see if he's OK.
Bagaganja is rocked! Kelly lands a strong strike to the head of Bagaganja. That's dazed him! Kelly looking to finish here. Bagaganja is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Kelly lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
