Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chill Romero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Macho Martel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martel has chosen The Original Techno Viking as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

17 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Macho Martel!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Wagner Zegers and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martel staying out of range there.
Romero ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Martel moves away.
Martel dives in and grabs Romero's left leg, looking for a takedown. Romero pushes down on Martel's head and hops out.
Martel feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Romero knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Martel on the ground.
