Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergio DeSousa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Stanislaus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Anthony Stanislaus! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stanislaus clinches with his opponent.
Stanislaus takes an elbow to the temple. DeSousa manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Stanislaus throws a strike but DeSousa rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Stanislaus has control of DeSousa's left arm, preventing DeSousa from doing any damage. Stanislaus keeping full guard, as DeSousa tries to pass. Stanislaus pulls DeSousa in close to his closed guard and prevents DeSousa from doing any damage or advancing position. Stanislaus is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stanislaus controlling the position. Stanislaus manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Stanislaus closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. DeSousa is trying to get back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stanislaus stands up. DeSousa doesn't succeed with the takedown so Stanislaus counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stanislaus lands a couple of digs. Stanislaus really doesn't want to stay on the ground with DeSousa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. This has been an exciting period of action! Stanislaus throws a big right hand that misses. Stanislaus controlling from the top position. Stanislaus looking to pass the guard. Stanislaus must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Stanislaus wants to stand but DeSousa has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Stanislaus sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed DeSousa's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stanislaus scoring with strikes to the body and head. DeSousa tries to roll over but Stanislaus keeps him under control. DeSousa slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. DeSousa is breathing heavily. Stanislaus trying to control the position from guard on top but DeSousa is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Stanislaus controlling from the top position. Stanislaus postures up and lands a big shot to DeSousa's brow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Stanislaus avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Stanislaus controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Stanislaus with a nice head shot there. Stanislaus showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Stanislaus trying to control the position from guard on top but DeSousa is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Anthony Stanislaus dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
DeSousa has his takedown stuffed and Stanislaus counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for DeSousa! DeSousa regains half guard. Ground and pound from Stanislaus. Stanislaus stalling. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stanislaus escapes and gets back to his feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stanislaus closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming DeSousa to the mat! DeSousa manages to get full guard. DeSousa looking to hit a scissor sweep but Stanislaus is one step ahead there. Stanislaus is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Stanislaus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. DeSousa swivels though and keeps the full guard. Stanislaus landing some decent shots from guard. DeSousa being controlled here, momentarily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stanislaus wants to control from the top but DeSousa keeps moving. Stanislaus slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Despite being in the dominant position, Anthony Stanislaus just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Stanislaus tries to close the distance and clinch up but DeSousa swats him away and circles back towards the center. Stanislaus wants to stand but DeSousa has a closed guard, so he can't escape. DeSousa has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Stanislaus doesn't defend quickly enough and DeSousa has managed to lock this one up! Can Stanislaus escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to DeSousa on a fantastic submission victory.
