The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcgeezak lands with a hook. Jones tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch but Mcgeezak swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mcgeezak scores with a jab to the head.
Mcgeezak clinches up against the cage.
Jones takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Johnny Jones has been cut.
Mcgeezak drops Jones with a big knee straight up the middle! Jones is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
Mcgeezak gets a clinch.
Mcgeezak misses with a knee strike.
Mcgeezak blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Jones is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Mcgeezak gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Jones is rocked!
That has opened up Johnny Jones's cut even more.
Mcgeezak lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Jones is still on wobbly legs! Can Mcgeezak finish him?
The cut above Johnny Jones's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Jones looks gassed!
Mcgeezak lands an elbow just above Jones 's eye.
Johnny Jones's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Johnny Jones's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
