The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clay fails to land the takedown.
Leroy shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Clay as he jumps to the side.
Clay takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Leroy displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Clay throws out the jab.
Clay scores with a one two! Leroy had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Leroy bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Clay doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Leroy decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Clay's guard.
Clay avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Leroy working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Clay working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Leroy.
Clay utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Leroy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Clay on the ground.

Clay is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Clay wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Leroy tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Clay smiles and moves away.

Leroy is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Clay has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Leroy is looking to defend but Clay has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Leroy! Clay pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Leroy taps out and this one is all over!
