1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Diego Batungbakal! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Batungbakal closes the distance and clinches. Batungbakal blocks a body shot from Batista. Batungbakal manages to break the clinch.
Batista swats away the attempt to clinch by Batungbakal. Batista tries to clinch but fails miserably and Batungbakal counters with a flying knee that drops Batista! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Batungbakal content to stall in guard here. Batista keeping moving, preventing Batungbakal from controlling successfully. Batungbakal throws a big right hand that misses. Batungbakal trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Batungbakal drops back looking for a leg! Batista is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Batista manages to kick Batungbakal off! Batungbakal jumps back into Batista's guard. Batungbakal wants to control from the top but Batista keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Batungbakal controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Batungbakal prevents Batista from getting back to his feet. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Batungbakal missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Batungbakal wants to pass the guard but Batista is keeping the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Diego Batungbakal was stalling too much, according to the referee. Batungbakal gets in close and instigates a clinch. Batungbakal has Batista pressed against the cage, preventing Batista from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Batungbakal unloads a knee to the mid-section. Batista lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Batista is breathing heavily. Batungbakal's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Batungbakal scores with a head kick.
It looks like Jason Batista has been cut. Batungbakal moves into the clinch successfully.

Batista throws a sloppy head kick and Batungbakal counters with a monster head kick that knocks Batista out cold! He topples like fallen a tree, crashing to the mat! Timbeeeeeerrr!
