The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meridius thows a body kick. Silva tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Meridius throws a leg kick but Silva moved away.
Meridius misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Meridius throws a leg kick but Silva moved away.
Meridius throws a head kick but Silva moves out of range.

Silva shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Meridius napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Meridius bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Silva swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Meridius.
A slapping body kick lands there for Meridius.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Meridius pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Meridius wants to land a leg kick but Silva is out of range.
Silva tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Silva is breathing heavily.
Silva has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Meridius.
Meridius attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Meridius misses with a head kick.
Meridius chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Meridius lands with a thumping leg kick.
Silva gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Meridius.
Silva is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Meridius Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Silva is out cold, face down on the mat!
