Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ze Ro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phantom Menace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ro's entrance music is 6' 7''. A fine choice. Menace has chosen Leroy Brown as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Phantom Menace was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ze Ro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
14 - 5 - 1, fighting out of New York, Phantom Menace!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Menace takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Menace looks to throw the jab but Ro is out of range.
Ro rushes Menace and presses him up against the cage.
Menace swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Menace blocks a body shot from Ro.
Ro lands a nice shot to the body.
Good body shot from Ro.
A body shot lands from Ro.
Ro pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Menace checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Ro avoids the head kick by Menace.
Menace missing with a left hand there. Ro was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Menace shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ro manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Menace throwing strikes but missing.
Menace drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Menace seems to have locked his on tight now - Ro screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Menace, as he picks up the win!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Phantom Menace!
