Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Acevedes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Rich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Acevedes comes to the cage accompanied by California Love. Jay Rich acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcus Acevedes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jay Rich! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Acevedes shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rich defends it nicely. Acevedes misses with a straight left. Acevedes slips a straight right by Rich. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rich stuffs the takedown. Rich throws a big shot that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rich throws a body punch but Acevedes moves out of range. Acevedes looks to land a left hand but Rich moved out of range nicely. Acevedes misses with a hook. Rich ducked under it nicely. Acevedes checks a low kick from Rich. Acevedes darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Acevedes trying to control from half guard but Rich is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Rich is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Acevedes pulls his head out easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Acevedes controlling the action here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Acevedes is looking to take a break and control but Rich is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Acevedes works his way into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Rich is looking to reverse the position. Rich sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Acevedes trying to pass the guard but Rich defending well. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Acevedes trying to control the action but Rich is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcus Acevedes dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Rich throws a leg kick that misses. Rich moves out of range of the strikes. Rich misses with a two punch combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Acevedes misses with a body shot.
Rich shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
That's one minute gone in the round. No luck with that takedown attempt from Rich. A jab from Acevedes misses. Acevedes slips a jab from Rich. Rich throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Acevedes sees it coming and avoids it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. A decent looking cross lands there for Rich. Rich misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rich tries a low kick but Acevedes avoids it. Jay Rich is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Rich takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Acevedes looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Acevedes trying to control the position from guard on top but Rich is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Acevedes advances position into side control! Rich tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Acevedes easily slips into full mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Acevedes throwing strikes but Rich recovers to half guard. A much better position. Rich is looking to control Acevedes's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Rich avoid being mounted? Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Acevedes seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Rich does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcus Acevedes dominated that second round. That's time! Acevedes's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Rich attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Acevedes cracks Rich with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Acevedes shoots in but Rich avoids the takedown attempt easily. Rich staying out of range there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. No joy there for Rich, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Acevedes looks to land a left hand but Rich moved out of range nicely. Rich throws a left that rocks Acevedes and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Rich dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Acevedes regain composure!

It looks like Marcus Acevedes has been cut. Acevedes is looking to regain half guard here but Rich keeps moving and retains side control. Rich goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Acevedes rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Rich's guard! Nice work there by Acevedes! Acevedes slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rich looking for a sweep. Not yet Rich, not yet. Acevedes wants to control from the top but Rich keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Acevedes slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Acevedes wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rich keeps working. Rich manages to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Rich actively working from the bottom here. Acevedes is looking to advance position but Rich won't allow it. Jay Rich has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Acevedes wants to control but Rich is keeping him busy.
And that's the end of the fight! Jay Rich comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Acevedes has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
