Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kalle Plumpman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamal Quik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quik has chosen Three 6 Mafia - I Got as his entrance music. Jamal Quik will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quik moves in looking to clinch but Plumpman pushes him off.

Quik has Plumpman up against the cage in a clinch.

Quik breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Plumpman gets tackled into the cage by Quik. Quik maintains the clinch.
Quik digs a right hand into Plumpman's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Plumpman's gas tank.
Plumpman jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Quik walks away with a smile on his face. Plumpman gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Plumpman looks to score with a jab to the body but Quik is just out of range.
Plumpman misses with a jab, cross combination.

Quik tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Quik fails in his attempt to clinch.
Quik tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Plumpman manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Quik has taken the fight to the clinch.
Plumpman tries to pull guard but Quik won't allow it.

Quik's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Plumpman lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Quik at a distance.
Quik dodges the punch combination from Plumpman.
Plumpman keeps the fight on the outside.
Plumpman tries to bum rush Quik with a series of wild strikes but Quik uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Quik takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Quik has clasped his hands together around Plumpman's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Plumpman can't do much from the bottom here.
Quik misses with the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Quik throws a strike but Plumpman avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Quik wants to control from the top but Plumpman keeps moving.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

A close round but Jamal Quik will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Quik takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Plumpman rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Quik moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Plumpman fails to land with a series of punches.
Plumpman connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Quik tumbling to the canvas! Plumpman pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Quik was done - good stoppage!
