Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Paul Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Paul Daley!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones instigates a clinch.
Jones looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Daley jumps guard and drags Jones to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Jones seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Jones has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Daley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Jones trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Daley on the ground.

Jones wants to get up but he can't break Daley's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Jones drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Daley manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jones has Daley in his guard.

Jones is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Paul Jones has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Daley lands with a cross.
Daley swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Jones.
It looks like Paul Jones has been cut.
Daley shoots in but Jones avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Daley scores with a sloppy right hand. Jones should have avoided that one.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Daley rushes Jones with punches - Jones moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Jones goes down! Daley follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Paul Daley!
