Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raymond Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rolo Pup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pup has chosen Stone Cold as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rolo Pup has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Raymond Lee!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rolo Pup!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pup misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Lee shoots and misses

and Pup decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Lee's guard.
Pup trying to control the position from guard on top but Lee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lee is on top in guard.
Pup wants to sweep here but Lee controlling him for the moment.
Pup is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Pup looking for a guillotine here but Lee defends easily.
Pup wants to sweep but no luck.
Lee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pup swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Pup escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lee gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Pup preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Pup trying to keep a closed guard but Lee is proving a slippery customer.
Lee pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Pup is keeping the position for now.
Pup lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Lee!
Lee can't escape the position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Pup throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Lee is wriggling around trying to escape.

Pup jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Lee is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Lee and Pup has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Pup swings around for an armbar but Lee sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Pup's guard.
Lee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pup swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Pup manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lee manages to get himself to full guard.

Lee working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pup doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pup manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Lee wriggles free and stands up.

Pup fails with the takedown

and Lee counters with a single leg into guard. Pup didn't expect that.
Pup looks gassed!
Pup utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Pup wants to stand but Lee is controlling the position.
Lee trying to control but Pup is working from the bottom.
Pup is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Lee trying to move into half guard but instead Pup has managed to sweep!

Pupis looking to pass into half guard but Lee pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Lee is in guard.
Lee pushes down on Pup's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Pup is refusing to be controlled, as Lee sits in half guard.
Pup is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Lee swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Pup counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Pup advances position into side control!

Pup tries for a kimura but Lee is defending well.
Lee manages to get back to half guard.

Lee kicks Pup off and gets back to his feet.
Lee doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Pup holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Pup pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Lee shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Lee preventing the sweep.
Pup looking to control.
Pup tries to strike from the bottom.
Lee trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Pup looking for a sweep. Not yet Pup, not yet.
Pup is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Raymond Lee overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Pup keeping moving, preventing Lee from controlling successfully.
Lee makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Lee landing with the ground and pound.
Lee might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Pup looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lee is one step ahead there.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Lee missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Lee decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Pup, up you get!
Raymond Lee is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Lee gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Pup counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Pup works his foot free and advances to mount.
Lee is trying desperately to improve position.
Pup unloads with some shots from mount but Lee bucks and avoids them well.

Pup looking to secure an arm triangle but Lee defends it well.
Lee wants to control but Pup is having none of it.
Lee is wriggling around trying to escape.

Pup is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Lee to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Lee shrugs it off.

Pup is working for a guillotine from mount but Lee frees his head quite easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Pup tries to control but Lee wriggling away.
Lee is looking to get to half guard.

Pup moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Lee has worked his arm free - good work by Lee!
Sloppy strikes there by Pup.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Lee is trying to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rolo Pup showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Pup is positioning himself well to prevent Lee advancing to mount.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

The fighters are battling for position here. Pup manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Lee in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Pup not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Lee trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Pup manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Lee is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

and Pup counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Lee!

Pup goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Lee is on top in guard.

Pup can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lee controls the pace.

Rolo Pup comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Pup has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
