Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Walter O Flanigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hard Knocks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Walter O Flanigan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Hard Knocks!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knocks slips a jab and a cross from O Flanigan.
Knocks keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
O Flanigan throws a series of punches but Knocks moves out of range.
O Flanigan fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
O Flanigan shoots for a double leg takedown but Knocks sprawls well. He's pushed O Flanigan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Walter O Flanigan. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

O Flanigan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Knocks keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Knocks feints and then cracks O Flanigan's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow O Flanigan down.
Knocks scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Knocks is looking to stand up but O Flanigan isn't so interested in that idea.

Knocks is wriggling around but O Flanigan manages to pass to half guard.
O Flanigan throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Knocks is not content to let O Flanigan control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Knocks throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by O Flanigan.
O Flanigan shoots in but no luck this time.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Knocks - that will leave a mark!
O Flanigan fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Knocks swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and O Flanigan counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Knocks is trying to stand up here but O Flanigan is controlling him well.

O Flanigan is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
O Flanigan stops Knocks from getting back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

O Flanigan looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
O Flanigan stops Knocks from getting back to his feet.
Knocks keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
O Flanigan works his way into side control.
Knocks takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Knocks wants to get back to his feet but O Flanigan drags him back down.
Knocks trying to remain calm as O Flanigan controls from the top position.

O Flanigan tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Knocks wants to get back to his feet but O Flanigan is dominant here and he's now got Knocks's back!
Knocks holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as O Flanigan tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
O Flanigan throwing strikes here but Knocks is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
O Flanigan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Knocks trying desperately to get to his feet.
Knocks taking shots to the head.
O Flanigan wants to control the pace but Knocks is squirming around nicely.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Knocks squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Walter O Flanigan dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Knocks looks to land a combination but O Flanigan avoids it well.
O Flanigan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

O Flanigan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Knocks wants to get back to his feet.
O Flanigan thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
O Flanigan throwing strikes here but Knocks is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

O Flanigan trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Knocks really wants to buck O Flanigan off and get back to his feet.
O Flanigan looking to control and managing it successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Knocks is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
O Flanigan trying to control but he's not successful this time.
You get the feeling that Knocks really doesn't like being in this position too much.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, O Flanigan cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
O Flanigan controlling from mount.
Knocks takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Knocks is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
O Flanigan sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
O Flanigan throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Knocks because O Flanigan loaded up on that one.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Knocks is in a horrible position here. O Flanigan smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

And that's the end of the fight!
Walter O Flanigan showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for O Flanigan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
