Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Henry Huynh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BJ Paninii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, BJ Paninii!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Summer Carpenter and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Huynh.
Huynh bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
No joy there for Paninii, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Huynh throws a wild body kick that Paninii sees coming a mile off.
Paninii misses with a jab, cross combination.
Huynh looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
A slow jab from Paninii misses its intended target.

Paninii is looking to clinch.
Huynh moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Paninii is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

BJ Paninii seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Paninii throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Huynh.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Huynh seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Paninii rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Huynh moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Huynh, right into the meat.

Huynh slips a jab and a cross from Paninii.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Huynh misses the jab.
Paninii misses with a series of wild punches.

Good leg kick by Huynh there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Huynh feints and as Paninii raises his hands in defense, Huynh changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Huynh misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Huynh tries to advance to mount but can't.
Huynh is looking to take a break and control but Paninii is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Huynh tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Paninii tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Huynh content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Paninii gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Huynh throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Paninii has his hands clasped together but Huynh breaks the hold and Paninii is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Huynh!
