Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mike Peterson!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bryan Baker!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baker shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Peterson but Peterson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Baker changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Peterson tries to avoid it but Baker manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Peterson to the ground. Peterson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Baker looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Peterson is fending him off so far but Baker persists. Nope, Peterson circles away and we're back to standing.
Mike Peterson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bryan Baker.
Peterson lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Baker backs up against the cage.
It looks like Bryan Baker has been cut.
Baker takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Baker shoots in looking for a takedown but Peterson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Baker's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Baker takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Peterson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Baker looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Peterson lands with a right hand.
Peterson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Baker sprawling to the canvas! Baker rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Peterson finish him?!
Baker is rocked!
Peterson throws a monster overhand right that drops Baker! Peterson follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mike Peterson!
Mike Peterson retains his welterweight title!
