Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jose PEGADOR (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Skinny Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

PEGADOR lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Boy sprawling to the canvas. PEGADOR follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Boy hang on?

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Jose PEGADOR just wasn't active enough.
Boy displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from PEGADOR.

and PEGADOR counters with a one-two to the body.

PEGADOR closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - PEGADOR lands in his opponent's guard.

PEGADOR got a little sloppy there for a moment and Boy has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, PEGADOR has managed to get both his arms back between Boy's legs - danger averted.
PEGADOR stands and throws Boy's legs to the side, diving into side control.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

PEGADOR thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
