Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jacinto um Pinto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lukkas Cavalcanti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Felipe Paraventi and Edson Gomes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cavalcanti decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
um Pinto tries to kick Cavalcanti off but Cavalcanti keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
um Pinto could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Cavalcanti is looking to advance position but um Pinto won't allow it.
Cavalcanti prevents um Pinto from improving his position.
Cavalcanti really doesn't want to stay on the ground with um Pinto. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Cavalcanti missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
um Pinto wants to get back to full guard.
um Pinto makes his way to full guard. A much better position for um Pinto.
um Pinto is trying to keep Cavalcanti in close.
um Pinto is pulling down on Cavalcanti's head. It's preventing any offense from Cavalcanti, at least for the moment.
um Pinto bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cavalcanti's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
um Pinto stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cavalcanti swivels though and keeps the full guard.
um Pinto is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Cavalcanti shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Cavalcanti lands a nice looking body shot.
Cavalcanti tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but um Pinto paws at him with a jab and circles away.
um Pinto looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cavalcanti is fending him off so far but um Pinto persists. Nope, Cavalcanti circles away and we're back to standing.
um Pinto throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cavalcanti's waist but Cavalcanti gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing um Pinto off to one side.
um Pinto looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cavalcanti is fending him off so far but um Pinto persists. Nope, Cavalcanti circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jacinto um Pinto. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Cavalcanti is looking to take a break and control but um Pinto is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

um Pinto has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Cavalcanti is working away from the top position though.

um Pinto looking for a triangle here. Cavalcanti is fighting it but it looks tight! um Pinto pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Cavalcanti is tapping out - this one is all over!
