The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hickey keeps the fight on the outside.
Lister shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lister walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
It looks like Paulo Lister has been cut.
Lister tries to sprawl but Hickey drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Hickey with the ground and pound but Lister uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Hickey in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Lister looking to control.
Lister has his hands on Hickey's head, controlling the position.
Lister looking for a sweep. Not yet Lister, not yet.
Hickey missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Hickey throws and elbow that misses. Lister uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hickey's guard. Nice move by Lister!

Lister drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Lister as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Hickey screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Lister! Nice submission victory there!
