Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daniels comes into the arena with Hate me now blaring out of the sound system. Jack Thomas has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas walks into a left hand.
Daniels misses with a looping right.
Thomas scores with a hook to the body. Daniels takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Daniels misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Thomas.

Thomas shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Thomas was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Thomas is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Daniels has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Daniels defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Thomas.
Daniels is squirming around, avoiding Thomas's attempts to control the action.
Daniels is trying to stand up.
Daniels on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Daniels tries to get out of the position.
Thomas trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Thomas has control of Daniels's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Daniels regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Thomas throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.

Daniels is trying to stand.
Daniels knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Thomas on the ground.

Thomas working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Thomas is trying to take his opponent's back.

Thomas jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Daniels manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Daniels wants to get back to his feet.
Thomas wants to lay and pray for a moment but Daniels keeps working.
Thomas advances to mount.
Daniels tries to buck Thomas off but he can't manage it.

Thomas has hold of Daniels's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Daniels manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Thomas wants to finish this one by submission but Daniels is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Thomas.
Thomas sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Thomas tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Daniels avoids a series of strikes thrown by Thomas.
Daniels is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Daniels wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Thomas.

Thomas goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Daniels turns into him and now he's in Thomas's guard.
Daniels tries to free his leg and advance position but Thomas is retaining full guard.

Thomas is looking to sinch up a triangle. Daniels throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Thomas's body to avoid the submission. Thomas has instead reached around Daniels's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Thomas arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
