The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Steve Montenegro and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vitonen jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Vitonen defending well as Baldwin loads up on a big left hand.
Baldwin throws the left hand but Vitonen avoids the punch easily.
Vitonen lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Baldwin pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Vitonen throws a right and a left that both miss.
A low kick from Baldwin is predictable there
and Baldwin takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vitonen misses with a straight right.
Vitonen scores with a jab to the head.
Vitonen closes the distance and clinches.
Baldwin jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Vitonen walks away with a smile on his face. Baldwin gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Baldwin jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Vitonen gets a clinch.
Vitonen lands a shoulder strike.
A shot in the inside from Baldwin.
Vitonen lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Baldwin misses with a hook from the clinch.
Vitonen lands a right hand that snaps the head of Baldwin backwards.
Baldwin lands a left hand that snaps the head of Vitonen backwards.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Vitonen.
Baldwin misses with some punches.
Baldwin tries a body shot but Vitonen blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Baldwin has a couple of punches blocked by Vitonen.
A head punch on the inside from Vitonen fails to land.
Vitonen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Baldwin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Baldwin throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Vitonen sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Vitonen's jab looks to have found its range, popping Baldwin under the eye.
Baldwin tries for a takedown but Vitonen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bill Baldwin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Vitonen cracks Baldwin with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Baldwin tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Vitonen pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Baldwin is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
